A Singapore Airlines cabin crew member was charged in court on Thursday with assisting an unlicensed moneylender in his business.

Leonard Louis Boyd, 43, allegedly handed over his POSB ATM card together with a personal identification number to one Ben Ho for his use in the illegal business on June 30 last year.

Boyd, who is released on $15,000 bail, is represented by lawyer Mathew Kurian. A pre-trial conference has been scheduled for June 21.

If convicted, Boyd can be fined between $30,000 and $300,000 and jailed for up to four years.
